The Pakistan-New Zealand match in the T20 World Cup Super 8 stage was delayed due to rain after the toss.
The overs will start decreasing from 8:18 am local time in Colombo, and if the 5-over match does not start at 10:16 am, it will be declared a no-win.
If the match is canceled due to rain, both teams will be given one point each.
Captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and invited Mitchell Santner XI to bowl first.
Fakhar Zaman has been included in the national team in place of Khawaja Nafi.
